Dr. Abbas completed her internal medicine residency and infectious disease fellowship at Creighton University and a third-year fellowship at Cleveland Clinic for transplant infectious disease. She is board certified in infectious diseases.
The University of Nebraska Medical Center has a robust transplant program in both solid organ transplants and bone marrow transplants. Dr. Abbas has an interest in immunocompromised patients which makes UNMC a great place to practice infectious diseases.
