Dr. Andrea Green Hines is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases at UNMC in Omaha, Nebraska. She received a BS of Biological Sciences and Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She received her MD from UNMC and completed her Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency at UNMC. She then went on to complete a four-year combined adult and pediatric infectious diseases fellowship at UNMC. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Adult Infectious Diseases and Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
Dr. Green Hines is the Program Director of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program and Medical Director of Children’s Nebraska's Antimicrobial Stewardship Program. Her research interests surround graduate medical education, antimicrobial stewardship as well as quality improvement projects. She enjoys mentoring medical students, residents and infectious diseases fellows as they pursue their career goals.
