Kari Neemann
Dr. Neemann is board certified in pediatric and adult infectious diseases, internal medicine, and pediatrics. She enjoys interacting with learners at the University of Nebraska Medical Center as the Clerkship Director for the Pediatric ID Rotation. She serves as the Medical Director of the Pediatric ID Immunocompromised Service. She also serves as the Medical Advisor to the Douglas County Health Department and is a volunteer physician at the Pediatric Tuberculosis Clinic at OneWorld Community Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Her research interests include infections in the immunocompromised host and global health. She is the recipient of a Thrasher Research Fund Early Career Award to study the maternal-neonatal vertical transmission of ESBL organisms in pregnant women in Nigeria. She is a co-investigator with the Nebraska Pediatric Clinical Trials Unit.
