 Dr. Helget joined Nebraska Medicine in 2021 after graduation from the rheumatology fellowship.  She practices at Durham Outpatient Center, Brentwood Clinic, and the Omaha VA.  She sees patients with all rheumatologic disorders.  She is currently obtaining a master’s degree in clinical translational research with a particular interest in improving long-term outcomes in gout patients. 

Dr. Helget’s other interests include the utilization of musculoskeletal ultrasound to diagnose and treat rheumatic disease.  She is also involved in medical student, resident, and fellow education. 

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and daughter.
