Research in the Department of Neurosurgery at University of Nebraska Medical Center focuses on a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to integrate basic and clinical science in the pursuit of innovation and improved outcomes for the patients we are privileged to serve.

Under the leadership of clinician-researcher Dr. Aviva Abosch , expansion of our research initiatives, including basic science protocols, and collaborative clinical research in conjunction with Neuro-Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Neurology is a critical pillar in the Department of Neurosurgery’s mission of excellence.
