Why I chose a PhD in nursing:
The possibilities are endless with a terminal nursing degree. I have always asked “why” we do the things we do, and I felt this program will allow me to explore nursing on a deeper level and actually drive change.
Research/professional interests:
Homelessness, veterans, sexual assault, mental health.
What I like about UNMC:
I love that UNMC is constantly striving for seeking new innovative research in changing how healthcare occurs. UNMC was close to home, and I knew that they would provide me with the education and tools to be successful in any role I move into in the future.
