Ordering Services
Researchers can order services offered by core facilities directly through Stratocore PPMS. The general steps for placing an order are outlined below.
Important: Not all shared research resources allow users to submit service orders through Stratocore PPMS.Additionally, each core facility has its own specific procedures and requirements that researchers must follow before accessing resources or requesting services. All users are expected to review and follow core-specific guidance. Guidance may be found in the banner section of the core’s homepage within Stratocore PPMS.

How to order services
- Go to Stratocore PPMS
- Select the facility of interest under Facilities available in University of Nebraska Medical Center and log in with your UNMC credentials
- From Home, select the Order tab and follow steps 4-8
OR
- On the home page, select the desired option under Order a Service or Consumable from the drop-down menu
- Under Project, select a project, if applicable
- Under Financial account #, select the correct account number that should be billed for the service*
- In the Services and consumables available for order table:
- Read the description
- Select and enter the quantity for the desired service or consumable
- Add a comment if necessary
- Provide a PO number, if applicable
- Select Order to submit the training request or Save quote if you're not ready to submit yet

- Quotes
- Order History
- The facility will review your request. Keep an eye out for a notification from the facility
*Researchers must have a valid account number linked to their Stratocore PPMS profile to order services. If you’re unsure about your account setup, please contact your lab group manager or financial account manager for assistance.
