Kathy A. Schall, MD FACS

Dr. Schall is board certified in general surgery and pediatric surgery. She grew up in rural Nebraska and attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She received her general surgery training in Salt Lake City, did research in short bowel syndrome in Los Angeles and completed her pediatric surgery fellowship in Phoenix.

Dr. Schall's medical interests include short bowel syndrome, differences of sexual development, chest wall disorders, neonatal surgery, minimally invasive surgical techniques, thoracic surgery and the full scope of pediatric surgery. She is looking forward to contributing to the education of medical students and residents from UNMC, while taking care of children from Nebraska.
