Jared Schober, MD

Dr. Schober is a fellowship trained urologic oncologist who serves as an assistant professor in the division of urologic surgery. He completed a comprehensive two year Society of Urologic Oncology fellowship at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Schober’s focus is on urologic oncology, where he specializes in the cancers of the genitourinary tract, including kidney, adrenal gland, ureter, bladder, prostate, testes and penis. He performs endoscopic, laparoscopic, robotic, and traditional open surgery. He is actively involved with clinical trials and research at the Fred & Pamela Buffet Cancer Center. He also participates in the Multidisciplinary Genitourinary Oncology Clinic.

Research Interests
Dr. Schober's research interests include clinical trials, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, optimization of clinical care, and surgical education. He works closely with a multidisciplinary team of medical oncology and radiation oncology researchers to provide patients access to cutting-edge clinical trials at the Fred & Pamela Buffet Cancer Center.
