A Message from the Chair
Welcome to the Department of Radiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Our mission is to provide exceptional clinical care, education, and research in radiology driven by innovation.
As a major tertiary referral center, we provide exposure to a broad spectrum of pathology across all radiology subspecialties. Our faculty are committed educators who work closely with our residents and fellows to ensure they develop the knowledge, confidence, and judgment needed to thrive in any practice setting.
We are also committed to preparing our residents for the future of radiology. Artificial intelligence is transforming our specialty, and we believe tomorrow's radiologists must understand how to effectively leverage these technologies to improve patient care. Through exposure to AI, imaging informatics, and emerging innovations, our residents gain the skills needed to lead in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
