Graduate Studies Alumni Council Awards

The UNMC Graduate Studies Alumni Council is accepting nominations for its 2024 Alumni Awards. We invite you to nominate a deserving alumnus by Wednesday, January 31, 2024. Self-nominations are accepted.

Award Categories

• The Distinguished Alumnus Award will be presented to a living graduate of the UNMC Graduate Studies Program to recognize an individual's noteworthy contributions to the University of Nebraska Medical Center or in their career field. The recipient will demonstrate the highest principles of their profession and serve as a role model for current and future UNMC Graduate Studies Program alumni.
• The Mid-Career Achievement Award is presented to an alumnus who has graduated within the past 11-25 years from the UNMC Graduate Studies Program. The award recognizes an individual who has made distinguished achievements and contributions thus far in their career. 
• The Early Career Achievement Award will be presented to an alumnus who has graduated within the past 10 years from the UNMC Graduate Studies Program. The award recognizes an individual who has made distinguished achievements and contributions early in their career.
• The Honorary Alumnus Award will be presented to a living non-graduate of the UNMC Graduate Studies Program who has had significant impact through their professional or personal contributions to the mission of UNMC, the Alumni Engagement Council, basic and/or clinical research, teaching skills, and/or health services administration.
