Week 3 - Student Summer Lifting Series

Day 1

Strength  

  • Back Squat  
  • Find a Heavy 5 rep in 2-4 warm-up sets then 4x5  
    Heavy doesn’t mean going to failure. For this, heavy should mean you have 1 maybe 2 reps in reserve, meaning you could do 1 maybe 2 more reps with good form but not 3 more.

  • Romanian Deadlifts 3x10

  • 3 second Pause Goblet Squats 3x10

  • Leg Press 3x10 

Kim is a trainer at the Center for Healthy Living. She is demonstrating how to correctly perform a leg press using the equipment in the weight room.

Day 2

 

5 Rounds: 

  • 7 Burpees 
  • 7 DB Deadlifts 
  • 7 DB Squats 
  • 7 DB Push Press 
  • 1:00 Row 
  • 2:00 REST
