What interested you most in UNMC?:
Hands down, the people. During rotations within the department, I knew that the residents and attendings were people that I would be excited to work with during residency. Additionally, I loved living in the Omaha community during medical school and was excited to make it my home during residency.
What was your first job?
Pharmacy technician at an outpatient small-town pharmacy.
What is the furthest you've traveled from Omaha?:
Athens, Greece
Career aspirations:
Outpatient family medicine practice
If you couldn't work in medicine, what would you do?:
I would open and run a bakery.
If you only had one day in Nebraska, what would you do?:
Husker football game, walking the Gene Leahy Mall/Riverfront, and dinner/drinks at Dante.
Most fond residency experience or memory up to this point?:
Getting to know all of my co-residents.
