What interested you most in UNMC?:

I am originally from Nebraska, so being close to family was important for me. I found that UNMC had a Family Medicine residency that would be able to train me to practice all aspects of family medicine and prepare me to return to rural Nebraska.

What was your first job?

I worked on a dairy farm near my hometown.

What is the furthest you've traveled from Omaha?:

Montego Bay, Jamaica

Career aspirations:

I plan to return to my hometown to practice full scope family medicine.

If you couldn't work in medicine, what would you do?:

I got my undergraduate degree in engineering so I would try to get a job as a roller coaster engineer.

If you only had one day in Nebraska, what would you do?:

Probably go to a Husker football game.

Most fond residency experience or memory up to this point?:

I have enjoyed the friends that I’ve made in my fellow residents. We have developed relationships that extend past the walls of the hospital. Having an incredible group of residents makes the hard days easier and the good days even better.
