What interested you most in UNMC?:

Kind, welcoming faculty and staff that focus on resident education. Ability to serve an underserved community. Excellent work-life balance.

What was your first job?

Third grade girls and sixth grade boys basketball coach.

What is the furthest you've traveled from Omaha?:

I was lucky enough to travel for a 10 week internship in Gulu, Uganda during college.

Career aspirations:

I plan to practice outpatient family medicine with a focus on preventative medicine, women's health, prenatal and OB care, and procedures.

If you couldn't work in medicine, what would you do?:

I would be a chef. I love to cook and explore new recipes!

If you only had one day in Nebraska, what would you do?:

The best day in Nebraska is a sunny, summer day on a lake with family and friends.

Most fond residency experience or memory up to this point?:

Watching my co-residents get married and grow their families has been very special. I feel so lucky to have such incredible people to not only experience big life events with, but also who I can call some of my best friends.
