What interested you most in UNMC?:

I liked the close knit feel of the residency program and how well everyone got along. Also the training program and what it has to offer for Family Medicine was a big factor.

What was your first job?

Washing cars at my dad's Auto Body Shop.

What is the furthest you've traveled from Omaha?:

Santorini Greece on my honeymoon.

Career aspirations:

I hope to practice in a rural setting near Omaha and Lincoln where I can do clinic, office procedures, colonoscopies, and help cover the ED.

If you couldn't work in medicine, what would you do?:

I would probably do some sort of engineering or carpentry.

If you only had one day in Nebraska, what would you do?:

I would take my family to spend the morning at Hardy Coffee in the outdoor garden then go to a Platte River state park or another state park to go camping for the night.

Most fond residency experience or memory up to this point?:

The Fall retreat at Smash Park was a lot of fun and a good time to connect with my co-residents away from the hospital.
