Name:
Natasha Yousaf
What interested you most in UNMC?:
The program interested me most. I liked that it was a combined military and civilian program.
What was your first job?
My first job was as a psychometrician for a forensic psychology office. I administered intelligence and personality assessments to gauge knowledge, reasoning, and risk for certain behaviors. Reasons for testing were competency to stand trial, bariatric pre-surgery assessments, parental fitness, and behavioral problems.
What is the furthest you've traveled from Omaha?:
During residency, the farthest I have traveled from Omaha is to West Virginia. West Virginia was home to me prior to residency.
Career aspirations:
I aspire to be an outpatient clinician. I have not yet decided the location of my future practice. In the immediate future, I will be an Air Force physician.
If you couldn't work in medicine, what would you do?:
I would love to own a library. I love to read!
If you only had one day in Nebraska, what would you do?:
I would spend my day at the Henry Doorly Zoo!
Most fond residency experience or memory up to this point?:
Doing an escape room with my co-residents!
