Maj Dr. Paul Pikman

Major Paul Pikman is a Pulmonary and Critical Care physician, assistant professor of medicine, and   instructor  at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and the Center for Sustainment of Trauma and Readiness Skills (C-STARS) Omaha, En Route Care Training Department, United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine, 711th Human Performance Wing. In addition to clinical practice in Pulmonary and Critical Care at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Major Pikman is also responsible for delivering biocontainment care training for Air Force and other uniformed medical personnel.

 

Major Pikman enlisted with the Air Force in August of 2006 as a teenager. He completed technical training in Cardiopulmonary Lab Technology/Respiratory Therapy and completed his enlistment in 2010 at Travis AFB, CA. Following completion of his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis he commissioned through the Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) in 2014. Prior to his current position, Major Pikman was completing his training in Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, MA.
