Andrew Reinhard joined the Global Centers for Health Security as a Project Manager in March 2026.  This is his first position within UNMC and previously worked at Nebraska’s Department of Health and Human Services (NDHHS).  He attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln and graduated with his bachelor’s in political science in 2019.  Andrew has spent the last 5 years working in NDHHS’s Immunization Program as the program’s vaccine ordering specialist, where he supported and coordinated the distribution of all publicly funded vaccines throughout Nebraska.  He also worked with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health departments to facilitate better communication and collaboration between the state, federal, and local levels.
