Joseph J. Hejkal, MD

Dr. Hejkal is an assistant professor of internal medicine in the division of Geriatrics, Gerontology, and Palliative Medicine. He has been on faculty since 2017. In addition to teaching students, residents and fellows, he assists with the Nebraska Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program, which provides educational resources and training in the care of geriatric patients to local primary care clinics. Clinically, he provides outpatient consultative and primary care services and inpatient consultations for older adults.
