Application Process

We have five positions available for 2024-2025. We accept candidates who may require J1 or H1b visa sponsorship. We review all applications.

Those candidates who need H1b sponsorship should note that, according to UNMC policy, accepted candidates are required to pay for H1-b Premium Processing from their own personal funds.

Please follow this information about requirements and the process for applying. All fellowship positions will be selected through ERAS® - The Electronic Residency Application Service. Before an invitation to interview can be extended, the following materials must be on file in ERAS:

A completed application
Personal statement
Three letters of recommendation (must be on letterhead and signed by the author)
Dean's letter and other credentials
Curriculum vitae
Medical school transcript
ECFMG certificate, if applicable
Copy of your USMLE scores

PLEASE NOTE: Applications will be downloaded from ERAS on July 26th, 2023. Please ensure your complete application including letters of recommendation is loaded into ERAS by July 26th in order to be considered for review by our recruitment committee.
