Curriculum

The University of Nebraska Medical Center is home to one of the most reputable and well-known liver transplant programs in the country.

UNMC maintains an average of 110 liver transplants per year, a goal that is only achieved by a few other programs all over the world. The world-class reputation of our program and our physicians attracts patients from across the country and around the world. Our staff includes physicians who have been involved in hepatology since the early 1970s. Because of this, our transplant hepatology fellows are exposed to innovative and ground-breaking training opportunities during their time here.
