Cynthia M. Lewis, MD

Dr. Lewis is actively engaged in medical practice and teaching.

She received her Doctor of Medicine in 1991 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She served her internal medicine residency from 1991 to 1994 and her medical oncology and hematology fellowship from 1994 to 1997 at UNMC as well.

After completing her training, Dr. Lewis joined a multispecialty private practice in Kearney, Nebraska, for three years. She then started in single-specialty hematology and oncology practice from 2001 to 2022. During this time, she served as Oncology Medical Director at Good Samaritan Hospital from 1999 to 2006 and Asera Care Hospice Medical Director from 2006 to 2009.

In January 2022, Dr. Lewis partnered with Nebraska Medicine to develop a Central Nebraska branch of Nebraska Medicine Oncology and currently serves as the Medical Director.
