Daniel Hershberger, MD

Associate Professor, Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine Division

Daniel Hershberger, MD

Dr. Hershberger attended medical school and internal medicine residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at Creighton University Medical Center in 2016.

Since joining the faculty at UNMC, Dr. Hershberger has developed the Interstitial Lung Disease clinic. He also co-founded the Autoimmune Lung Clinic. The Autoimmune Lung Clinic is a multidisciplinary clinic run in conjunction with rheumatology to co-manage connective tissue disease-related lung diseases. He is actively engaged in research regarding Interstitial Lung Disease.

Dr. Hershberger is a dedicated educator of medical students, residents and fellows. He has been recognized multiple times for his efforts.
