Tammy Wichman, MD

Dr. Wichman graduated from Creighton University and married her physics lab partner. They have five amazing children and love raising them in Omaha, Nebraska. She attended medical school at St. Louis University and completed a combined internal medicine-pediatrics residency and fellowship in pulmonary-critical care at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Dr. Wichman loves taking care of patients and their families in the intensive care unit, helping them at a critical time in their lives, when every minute counts. She also care for patients with pulmonary hypertension, helping them live their best lives with a difficult disease.
Dr. Wichman is also blessed to be the program director of the internal medicine residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, which means she gets to help train the next generation of outstanding internal medicine physicians.
