Michael Feely, MD
Assistant Professor, Division of Rheumatology
Dr. Feely returned to UNMC/Nebraska Medicine, where he had completed his medical training, in 2015 after spending 4.5 years in private practice. He sees patients primarily at the Village Pointe Multispecialty clinic, though he also attends at the Omaha VA Medical Center and participates in the autoimmune lung disease clinic — a joint clinic with both rheumatologists and pulmonologists focused on the management of various autoimmune lung disorders. He sees patients with all rheumatologic disorders with a special interest in inflammatory myopathies and interstitial lung disease related to rheumatologic disorders.
Dr. Feely is involved in medical student and resident education and frequently participates in the training and education of rheumatology fellows. He is a member of committees for the American College of Rheumatology and is a member of the international myositis assessment and clinical studies group (IMACS). In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and attending his kids’ sporting events.
