Dr. Nate Goodrich

Dr. Nate Goodrich has been a faculty member in the University of Nebraska Medical Center Department of Pediatrics (Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine) since 2016. He served as an Associate Program Director for the Pediatrics Residency Program from 2017-2020 and recently transitioned into the role of Co-Program Director. He is board certified in Pediatrics and is planning on sitting for Pediatric Hospital Medicine boards in 2021.

Dr. Goodrich is originally from Omaha and attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln for his undergraduate degree. He graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in 2013. He stayed in Omaha for his Pediatrics residency training and completed his residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center/Creighton University/Children’s Hospital & Medical Center Pediatrics Residency Program in 2016. Upon graduating from residency, he joined the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center/Children’s Hospital & Medical Center. In addition to his involvement in the residency program, Dr. Goodrich also serves as co-director of the Pediatrics Career Specialty track at the University of Nebraska Medical Center for fourth-year medical students. Dr. Goodrich has always found the greatest joy in mentoring and teaching students and residents.

Dr. Goodrich and his wife Stephanie are proud dog parents. Whenever time allows, they love traveling the world and experiencing different cultures and people. Having the opportunity to travel to Italy and Australia were two of the absolute best experiences they have had! In the fall, Nate and Steph can be found in Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, NE to cheer on the Huskers. When not traveling, Dr. Goodrich enjoys photography, discovering new music, and loves to get out on his bike on the Omaha bike trails.
