Research Interests

My passion lies in computational biology, in which I enjoy deciphering biological responses using computational methods with data from the ever-evolving next-generation sequencing technologies. My current interests are to study the immune system in the brain under the condition of drug abuse and/or HIV infection, in which I use the data from single cell RNAseq, ATACseq, and spatial information.
