Biography
Nancy Reno is an adjunct faculty at the College of Nursing. She completed her BSN (2005) at the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, CO. She was awarded her MSN (2012) from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, CO. She began her nursing career working in labor and delivery, nursery and postpartum, and transitioned into the academic setting as she completed her graduate studies. As a Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Reno has worked with undergraduate nursing students at the associate degree and RN to BSN levels. Her FNP project "Applying Culture Care to Primary Practice" focused on utilizing the Centering Pregnancy model with Somali women in Greeley, CO. Ms. Reno currently teaches in the RN to BSN program in health promotion and nursing research and evidence-based practice courses.
