Tissue Science & Biospecimen Research Facility

The Tissue Science and Biospecimen Resource Facility encompasses the Tissue Science Facility, Institutional Biospecimen Bank and the Electron Microscopy Research Facility. Together, these cores provide comprehensive pathology and biospecimen support services for basic, translational, and clinical research studies.

The TSBR Facility was established to support the research community through extensive technical expertise, advanced laboratory capabilities, and a strong understanding of investigator needs. To ensure equitable access and appropriate utilization of resources, a multidisciplinary oversight committee reviews tissue and biospecimen requests and assists in prioritizing their use for research activities.
