Rotations and Curriculum

Our residency program is designed to provide you with a strong base of pediatric training covering a wide range of areas, with the flexibility for you to identify and pursue your individual areas of interests. With the addition of the Hubbard Center for Children at Children's Nebraska in 2021, our 225-bed hospital sees well over 8,800 admissions per year, providing our residents with a robust, comprehensive training experience.

Rotations

Our residency program’s curriculum features a month-long block system. Each rotation is one-month long, which affords our residents greater flexibility with regards to vacation and time off. We aim to build a strong clinical foundation during the first year of residency, so that our residents are well-equipped for career exploration and skill development during the second and third years.
