Take Charge of Your Health
Understanding your diabetes risk is important, in the USA 37.3 million people have diabetes already and another 96 million people have prediabetes. Having prediabetes means your blood glucose (sugar) levels are higher than normal – but not high enough to be diagnosed as diabetic. Taking control of your health may reverse prediabetes and return your blood sugar levels to normal. Doing this prevents the development of type 2 diabetes and serious health problems such as stroke and heart disease.
