Crystal Krause, PhD

Dr. Krause is a faculty member in the Center for Surgical Advanced Technology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She has extensive experience with grant writing, clinical study implementation, and regulatory compliance for both human and animal studies.

Dr. Krause helps to oversee student and fellow research in collaborative, assisting with project proposal preparation, funding application, and regulatory compliance for human and animal studies. She also assists in the writing of regulatory protocols within the center.

Dr. Krause is the project manager of several ongoing clinical trials. She collaborates with physicians and other scientists both within and outside the university system, and these experiences have provided the opportunity to develop clinical research and project management skills and relationships in the university system. She also conducts clinical outcomes research and have a variety of interests across the lifetime continuum, including pediatric cancer survivorship and bariatric surgical outcomes.
