Dr. Janelle-Cheri Millen is a surgical oncologist and an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Dr. Millen is from Jamaica, and completed medical school there at the University of the West Indies, Mona campus. She did internship in Jamaica for 1 year before doing a surgical internship at Howard University Hospital and General Surgery residency through the University of Central Florida-HCA Consortium. Thereafter, she completed fellowship in Complex General Surgical Oncology at the Saint John’s Cancer Institute (formerly John Wayne Cancer Institute) in Santa Monica, California.
Dr. Millen is passionate about the surgical care of breast cancer patients, with particular interest in the application of oncoplastic surgical techniques.
