Patient Care

In the UNMC Department of Surgery, we are training the next generation of physicians, surgeons, physician-scientists and academic leaders to make discoveries and provide the highest quality surgical care.

Our academic leaders apply innovations to improve outcomes and accessibility to health care and address unmet health care needs of Omaha and the surrounding communities. Our faculty members provide patient care through UNMC's clinical partners, including Nebraska Medicine.
