Rishi Batra, MD, MBA

Dr. Batra is a colon and rectal surgeon who has clinical interest in colon and rectal cancer, ulcerative colitis/Crohn’s disease, and other benign diseases of the colon and rectum, including diverticular disease.

He has a background in both basic sciences research as well as outcomes research. During his training, he completed a dedicated two-year research fellowship.

Dr. Batra is interested in disparities in colon and rectal care, diverticulitis in the immunosuppressed, and watch and wait approach to rectal cancer.
