Tiffany N. Tanner, MD, FACS, FASMBS

Dr. Tanner is a general surgeon from Nebraska. She stayed in the state to complete her general surgery residency training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She then went onto complete a fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City. Dr. Tanner is an associate professor at UNMC and the program director of the general surgery residency.

Dr. Tanner performs minimally invasive surgery, both laparoscopically and with the robot allowing for patients to have a faster recovery. Her main clinical focus is in primary weight loss surgery, gallbladder removal, hernia repair and abdominal wall reconstruction.
