Children’s Nebraska is a 279-bed nonprofit organization caring for children since 1948. Children's is the state's leading pediatric healthcare provider, home to Nebraska's only Level IV regional neonatal intensive care unit and the state's first and only Level I pediatric trauma center. Patients are referred from throughout a five-state region and beyond for the treatment of complex childhood diseases. At Children’s, no child in need of medical care is ever turned away due to inability to pay. Children’s is a free-standing pediatric hospital and medical center with a unique academic partnership with the University of Nebraska Medical Center, enabling Children’s providers to educate and train the next generation of pediatric specialists.

Children’s Division of Anesthesiology plays an integral role in providing exceptional pediatric care, working collaboratively with specialists across the organization.   • State-of-the-art Hubbard Center for Children, housing full-service operating suites equipped with leading-edge technologies, including robotic-assisted surgery and intraoperative MRI
  • Comprehensive Criss Heart Center featuring an acuity-adaptable Cardiac Care Unit, cardiac catheterization labs that can serve as full-service operating suites, heart failure and transplantation services and a comprehensive adult congenital heart disease program
  • Fetal Care Center offering prenatal diagnostic services and care planning for mothers carrying babies who may need intervention or support after birth
  • Accredited Critical Care Transport team equipped with a fleet of four ambulances, one helicopter and one fixed-wing plane
  • 10,000-square-foot pediatric ambulatory surgery center with four operating rooms in west Omaha
