Pain Medicine Fellowship
Learn more about the Pain Medicine Fellowship.
We are committed to providing each fellow with the highest quality experience and education through our ACGME-accredited fellowship with both faculty expertise and a diversity of training experiences.
Our fellowship trains and mentors future pain medicine physicians to excel both clinically and in the fields of education and research. Our fellows are in charge of their experience, taking turns creating the call and weekly schedule for themselves, residents and medical students that rotate with us. We offer a broad-based clinical experience that includes such environments as:
- Acute pain
- Chronic pain
- Cancer pain
- Interventional procedures
- Multidisciplinary pain medicine
- Neuroscience experience
Fellows participate in pain training that varies depending on their level of expertise as soon as they begin training. Our fellows exceed the minimal requirements of pain procedures established for sub-certification in Pain Medicine from the American Board of Anesthesiology.
