Research Resources

The Niedfelt Nursing Research Center (NNRC) is located in the state of the art Center for Nursing Science building and provides resources to students and faculty on measurement, research methods, and statistics during grant preparation. The NNRC assists in planning and developing grants and grant budgets. Grant Support also includes both formative and summative mock reviews of applications, administrative support and study design support from the college and UNMC’s Center for Collaboration on Research, Design, and Analysis (CCORDA) in the College of Public Health.

The Clinical Research Center (CRC) is an outpatient clinical research facility with skilled research nurses and a core laboratory which can also assists with inpatient protocols. More than 50 protocols and 100 investigators, on average, are supported by CRC resources. The CRC is located on the third floor of the University Hospital, room 3480.

The Center for Collaboration on Research Design and Analysis (CCORDA) seeks to advance clinical, basic, and translational research and public health research at UNMC and in the community and region.

The Self-Management Resource Center (SMRC) has evidence-based self management programs previously offered by Stanford Patient Education Research Center. The self-management programs help people and their caregivers control their symptoms, better manage their health problems, and lead fuller lives.
