Move your Heart Wellness Challenge
Join Move Your Heart: 20 Minutes a Day in February, a wellness challenge hosted by Campus Engagement in partnership with the Center for Healthy Living (CFHL).
From Feb. 1-28, participants are encouraged to move for at least 20 minutes each day to support heart health, energy, and overall wellbeing. Movement can be adapted: walking, stretching, chair movement, strength work, yoga, dancing or any activity that feels safe and accessible.
Sign-up for the challenge closes Feb. 7.
28-Day Movement Calendar
When you register, you will receive a printable calendar that includes 28 daily movement prompts. To help you complete the daily prompts, be sure to check out all the programs and resources available at your local campus fitness center.
- Omaha students: Center for Healthy Living
- Omaha faculty and staff: If you are not already a member of CFHL, you are invited to take advantage of the CFHL special limited membership offer available in February. Email cfhlfitness@unmc.edu for details.
- Lincoln students: UNL Campus Recreation
- Kearney students: UNK Wellness Center
- Norfolk students: Fitness and recreational facilities on the Northeast Community College campus
- All campuses/all participants: You may find these at-home workout resources from CFHL useful to complete your movement prompts.
Prize Drawing for Completion
At the end of the challenge, submit your completed calendar by March 6 to the CFHL front desk or email a photo to engagement@unmc.edu to be entered into a drawing for the following prizes:
- 2 CFHL 5-day passes
- 3 Branded yoga mats
- 4 branded water bottles
- 1 post workout swag bag
