Maj Kyle Harris is an Acute Care Surgeon and assistant professor of surgery at University of Nebraska Medical Center and the Center for Sustainment of Trauma and Readiness Skills (C-STARS) Omaha, En Route Care Training Department, United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine, 711th Human Performance Wing. In addition to clinical practice in Acute Care Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Major Harris is also responsible for delivering biocontainment care training for Air Force and other uniformed medical personnel.

Major Harris entered the Air Force in July 2013 as a commissioned 2nd Lieutenant through the Health Professional Scholarship Program (HPSP) while attending medical school at Michigan State University. Maj Harris completed his general surgery residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, in 2022. He furthered his training with a trauma and critical care fellowship at the same institution, which he finished in 2024.
