- C-STARS
  C-STARS, the Center for Sustainment of Trauma Readiness Skills- Omaha is a collaboration between UNMC, Nebraska Medicine, and the Air Force Research Laboratory’s School of Aerospace Medicine. C-STARS Omaha works closely with UNMC’s Global Center for Health Security, iEXCEL, and the Nebraska Biocontainment Unit to take advantage of the medical center’s capabilities and expertise in biopreparedness training and research.

Jason Levy, MS

Instructional Designer

Jason Levy joined the Global Center for Health Security in September 2022 as an Instructional Designer, bringing a dynamic blend of media expertise and educational innovation to the role.

Before entering the field of instructional design, Jason built a strong foundation in radio and media marketing, where he honed his skills in storytelling, audience engagement, and content creation.

Prior to joining the GCHS, he served as the Instructional Designer at the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center, part of the University of Kansas, where he developed impactful learning experiences tailored to law enforcement professionals.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a focus on Radio/Television Production from Kent State University, and a Master of Science in Journalism specializing in Digital Content Strategy from the University of Kansas.
