Thomas Barnett joined the GCHS in 2023 as a project manager for the Region 7 Disaster Health Response Ecosystem
(R7DHRE). Prior to joining GCHS, he was the Emergency Response Coordinator for Four Corners Health Department where he was heavily involved in the response to COVID-19, including distribution of PPE and vaccines, but was also responsible for public health emergency preparedness within the Four Corners jurisdiction. Thomas also has experience in both the education and non-profit sectors, and actively serves as a member of Seward Volunteer Fire Department. Thomas has earned bachelor’s degrees from the University of Idaho, a Master of Public Health with an emphasis in environmental health from the University of Illinois at Springfield, and a MA in Teaching from Marian University.
