Improving Human Performance & Effectiveness in Healthcare
iEXCEL supports and enhances collaborative research activities in many arenas, limited only by the imagination of the investigators. The Davis Global Center is an ideal research venue in which partnerships are created for training and for the development and testing of new processes, products, educational content and/or devices.
Emphasis
iEXCEL collaborative research focuses on assessing the impact of experiential learning technologies and environments on human performance & effectiveness in healthcare. These activities include the adoption of high-fidelity clinical, human and surgical simulation and advanced visualization – including 2D/3D Augmented/Virtual Reality (AR/VR) and holographic – during training of healthcare professionals, using an interprofessional performance-based approach.
