Certified Nurse-Midwives
Welcome to the Midwifery Team at UNMC
The midwifery team at UNMC provides patient-centered care and shared decision-making for pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and gynecologic needs. Our certified nurse-midwives specialize in supporting low to moderate risk pregnancies with a focus on natural, physiologic birth and holistic care.
While our goal is always a smooth, healthy pregnancy and birth, we understand that unexpected challenges can arise. If risk levels change, our midwives work closely with our physician team to co-manage care. This collaboration ensures our patients receive the safest, most personalized approach possible—while still honoring parent preferences and helping them feel supported every step of the way.
