Early Assurance Program Application Questions
As part of the RPPEI and PEAP pathway applications at the UNMC College of Pharmacy, applicants are asked to complete short essay responses. The questions below are provided to help you reflect and prepare thoughtful answers that highlight your interests, experiences, and goals before applying.
Essay Questions
- Why have you selected pharmacy and what have you done to investigate pharmacy as a career? Please include personal qualities or traits that you feel are important for pharmacists to possess.
- Aside from becoming a pharmacist, what other professional and personal goals do you have? How do you plan to achieve them?
- What have you done to make yourself a competitive candidate for pharmacy school?
- Do you work during the school year? If so, please describe where and how many hours per week.
- Describe your participation in extra curricular activities, including any offices or leadership responsibilities. If you have not participated in any, please indicate why.
- Please indicate why you wish to attend the University of Nebraska College of Pharmacy, why you should be admitted to the Early Assurance Program, and your career plans upon completion of your education.
- This is an opportunity to make any additional personal comments that you think are important to your application.
