Travel Fellowship

The Travel Fellowship is a need-based fellowship given twice a year to postdocs who are the presenting authors in posters or talks at national or international scientific meetings. The funding allows postdocs to travel to the professional conferences when a downturn in their mentor’s funding leaves them unable to pay for the trip.

These fellowships are $500 each for travel expenses.

Application requirements include:

A one-page narrative with accepted abstract and the name, location and date of the conference.
A current copy of your CV.
A letter from your mentor clearly explaining the loss in the funding and why it has left the lab unable to pay for this travel.

The application period will open in summer 2023.
