Travel Fellowship
The Travel Fellowship is a need-based fellowship given twice a year to postdocs who are the presenting authors in posters or talks at national or international scientific meetings. The funding allows postdocs to travel to the professional conferences when a downturn in their mentor’s funding leaves them unable to pay for the trip.
These fellowships are $500 each for travel expenses.
Application requirements include:
- A one-page narrative with accepted abstract and the name, location and date of the conference.
- A current copy of your CV.
- A letter from your mentor clearly explaining the loss in the funding and why it has left the lab unable to pay for this travel.
