Emily Cantrell, MD

Dr. Cantrell is a board-certified surgeon specializing in emergency general surgery, surgical critical care and trauma.

She earned her medical degree from Wake Forest University. Dr. Cantrell completed residency training at the University of Florida and a fellowship in the division of trauma, burns, surgical critical care and acute care surgery at University of California, San Diego.

Dr. Cantrell serves as the associate trauma medical director for UNMC.
