Paul Aylward, MD

Assistant Professor, UNMC Department of Surgery, Division of Acute Care Surgery

Dr. Aylward joined UNMC Division of Acute Care Surgery in June 2026, as a pediatric trauma surgeon and assistant professor. He completed his medical, postgraduate, and Surgical Critical Care fellowship training from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Aylward completed his Pediatric Surgery fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch/Driscoll Children's Hospital in Galveston and Corpus Christi, Texas.
